Jane S. Oliveira, Psy. D.
I’m a pediatric neuropsychologist and the owner of The Center of Child & Adolescent Assessment. I provide comprehensive neuropsychological and evaluative psychological services to children and adolescents. I have worked in a combination of hospital-based and private practice settings for a number of years.
I completed my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University of New England. My clinical training was broadly focused on the assessment and treatment of children with severe mental health difficulties. My research has mostly focused on the study of cognitive correlates of childhood psychiatric syndromes, with a particular interest in the relationship between mental illness and executive functions.
I completed my pre-doctoral internship at the Institute of Living/Hartford Hospital/Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Consortium. While there, I received extensive training in providing psychological, neuropsychological, and psychoeducational assessments, as well as individual, group, and family-based therapies for children and adolescents across various medical and psychiatric settings.
I then went on to complete a two-year fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology within the Clinical Neuropsychology Specialty Program (CNSP) at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University. During my time there I completed clinical rotations at E.P. Bradley Hospital and Rhode Island Hospital, where I obtained further training providing neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults with various psychiatric, medical, neurodevelopmental, and acquired conditions.
